APALA Illustrations & Stickers

Kavi Vu discovered my work on Instagram and invited me to join forces with the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance (APALA) on an exciting project for their 2021 conference. Together, we brought APALA's Seven Principles of Collective Liberation to life through a series of explainer videos featuring seven different fruits: persimmon, dragonfruit, mangosteen, starfruit, mango, durian, and rambutan. As the illustrator, I had a blast animating scenes of people picking these fruits straight from the tree, which Kavi then integrated into the videos. To top it all off, I also designed some sweet stickers and sticker sheets for APALA's conference merch. Check out the explainer videos here!
